Premium Solar & Battery Solutions
Smarter Solar Built Around Your Energy Needs.
Solar is a long-term investment. We treat it that way. From the first system design to installation and ongoing support, we stay focused on one thing: building solar systems that perform.
Built for Queensland Conditions
Local knowledge makes a difference. We understand the Queensland climate, local grid requirements and Ergon Energy network, along with the rebates and incentives available to eligible customers. You get advice based on the conditions we work with every day.
Quality Equipment & Components
We use proven solar panels, inverters, battery and EV charging systems from established brands. We don’t cut corners with cheap components or specify equipment simply because it looks good on a quote. Your system is a long-term investment, so we focus on products designed to deliver reliable performance.
Licenced & SAA Accredited
Your solar system is only as good as the installation behind it. Every RAD NRG system is designed and installed by our own licenced, SAA-accredited electricians. With Electrical Contractors Licence 91606, we have the experience and qualifications to get the job done.
Backed for the Long Haul
We build systems for the long haul and back our workmanship accordingly. Depending on the product, you’ll have access to 10-30 year manufacturer warranties alongside our 10-year workmanship warranty.
Local Service & Clear Communication
We’re a local business, and that means we’re invested in the community we’re working in. You’ll get direct, practical advice from a team that understands the local market, without the pressure, confusing jargon or hard-sell approach.
Solar Rebates & Incentives
Take Advantage of Available Incentives
Going solar is a big investment, but you may not have to cover the full cost yourself. Government incentives can help reduce the upfront price of your solar or battery system, and RAD NRG can help you understand what’s available.
- Solar STC Rebates: Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) can reduce the upfront cost of an eligible solar system. We’ll take care of the paperwork and factor the applicable discount into your quote.
- Battery Incentives: Eligible households may be able to access battery incentives through programs such as the Cheaper Home Batteries Program, helping make battery storage more accessible.
- Solar Finance: Our flexible finance options can help spread the cost of your solar or battery system. Ask our team about the finance options available for your project.
Not Sure If You Qualify?
Eligibility can depend on factors including your system size, property type and grid connection. We’ll talk you through the relevant requirements, check what may apply to your project and help take the paperwork off your hands.
Our Process
How We Get Solar Done
01. We Get to Know Your Energy
We visit your property, look at your existing setup, review your power usage and talk through what you want your solar system to achieve. Whether the goal is reducing grid reliance, adding a battery or preparing for future energy demands, we start with the facts.
02. We Build the Right System
We use your consumption data, property layout, roof space and profiling, available sunlight and budget to determine the right combination of panels, inverters and battery storage. The result is a considered system designed around your energy requirements, no up-selling.
03. We Install It
Our licenced, SAA-accredited electricians handle the installation themselves, working to Australian standards and paying attention to the details that matter. No sub-contracting to ensure quality control.
04. We Handle the Paperwork
You shouldn’t need to become a solar expert. From network approvals and EWR submissions to applicable rebate requirements and monitoring setup, we take care of the administration involved in getting your system connected and ready to perform.
05. We Stay in Your Corner
Once your system is live, monitoring helps us keep track of how it’s performing and identify potential issues. If something needs attention or you have a question down the track, you’ve still got a local team behind your system.

Over the moon with our recent Sig Energy install that Ryan completed for us. We’d been messed around by a few sales-driven companies beforehand, so finally dealing with Ryan — someone who actually tailored the system to our household’s needs from start to finish — was a breath of fresh air. Ryan guided us through the entire process and clearly explained the different inverter and battery brands, along with the pros and cons of each. That made it easy to choose the right setup for our home, and with his experience we always felt we were in safe hands. We also had a full switchboard upgrade, which now means we can use the battery when the power goes out — a massive bonus! We ended up choosing a 32 kWh battery with a 10 kW 3-phase inverter, and we couldn’t be happier. We’ll definitely be passing Ryan’s number on to friends and family who are interested. We haven’t used one unit from the grid since installed 😍
